Peace House Africa, a non-profit organization committed to educating AIDS orphans in East Africa is honoring me at the Colors of Hope Hamptons charity benefit to help raise awareness for the foundation’s objectives. I’m a firm believer that all children deserve an education so they can build a better future for themselves and their community, PHA is an amazing organization in that it helps provide the tools these children need to do so. I'm so grateful to be involved in this non-profit's mission of giving hope, care, education and technology resources.

The event, which will take place at a private estate in Southampton, New York, will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2010. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to Peace House Africa.

Earlier this week I wrote an entry for Dear Daily, about my travels through Italy, Turkey, and the Black Sea (you guys got a first look at my travel photos on Minkette). A ton of new stuff has been added to our online shop! We're really excited about the groups that feature our new custom buckles. The new hardware is multi-faceted and originally inspired by military buckles, but reinvented for that super-edgy RM feel.
